These seascape photos were taken at Pierce's Beach in Somerset, MA. My first photo (though not origionally upside down) is a close up of a tree. It uses the rule of 3rds because of the way the trees and the building is spaced out. My second photo was in the back woods of the beach. The pole in the front with the tall grass create a foreground, the trees make up a middle ground and the sky is the background. My next photo is of the Caverns at Pierce's. The path creates a sense of depth in the photo in that it leads your eye deeper into the photo. The forth picture was taken from the top of the staircase shooting downward. The closeness of the stairs create a sense of depth. There are also leading lines from the staircase that lead your eyes to the water. This fifth picture was taken just as the sun was coming down,. There is a distinct foreground, middle round and background. The three rocks were just there and added visual interest to the shot. This last picture is my favorite. Although over exposed in the back, the photo captures the movement of the water.
